Creator Responsibility & Ownership Warranties

Nowboja is a platform provider and host for independent creators. When you upload films, masterclasses, trailer previews, or media assets to Nowboja, you affirm that you possess all legal copyrights or written authorization from the copyright holder.

Nowboja does not claim ownership of your uploaded content. However, by uploading content, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for any civil, criminal, or financial liabilities that arise from copyright violations or unauthorized distributions. Nowboja shall be completely exempt and indemnified from any penalties, legal claims, or damages caused by user uploads.

DMCA Safe Harbor & Takedown Policy

In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and international copyright standards, Nowboja responds swiftly to valid notices of copyright infringement.

How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner (or an authorized agent) and believe that content hosted on Nowboja infringes upon your copyright, please submit a written notification containing:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  2. Direct URL or exact location of the alleged infringing material on Nowboja.
  3. Your contact information (Name, physical address, phone number, and email address).
  4. A statement: “I have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
  5. A statement: “The information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.”
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-Notification Policy

If your uploaded content was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe this was due to a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written Counter-Notice containing:

  1. Identification of the material removed and its location prior to removal.
  2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  3. Your name, address, phone number, and consent to local court jurisdiction.

Repeat Infringer Policy

Nowboja operates a strict zero-tolerance policy for willful infringement. Accounts identified as repeat infringers will have their publishing rights permanently revoked, pending Stripe balances frozen, and accounts terminated.
