Terms of Service

You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Nowboja.

• No harassment, hate speech, spam, scams or impersonation.
• No uploading content you don’t have the rights to.
• No attempts to break, scrape or misuse the platform.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

• Tickets give you access to watch a film or series on Nowboja; they do not transfer any ownership of the work.
• Popcorns are digital tokens used to unlock content on Nowboja. They have no cash value and can’t be exchanged outside the platform.
• Support payments ("Support the team") are voluntary gifts to creators and are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

4.1 Ownership. You keep full copyright and ownership of everything you upload.

4.2 Hosting license. You grant Nowboja permission to host, stream, display and deliver your content to viewers on the platform, according to the visibility and pricing you choose.

4.3 Promotional & marketing rights. By uploading or submitting any project, film, series, trailer, poster, still frame, synopsis, credit, or related information (“Content”), you grant Nowboja LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce and excerpt your project’s promotional assets to market, publicize and promote both your project and the Nowboja platform. This includes:

• Digital & social channels: trailers, short clips, poster artwork, stills, loglines and creator/cast names on social media (such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn and Facebook), email newsletters, websites, press features and editorial highlights.
• Physical & traditional media: poster art, stills, titles and promotional materials for print, posters, flyers, event signage, festival booths, banners, press kits, trade shows, screenings and other traditional media.
• Attribution: where practical, Nowboja will credit the project and creator and direct audiences to watch or support the full project on Nowboja.
• No transfer of ownership: this license is for promotion only. Nowboja will not sell, sublicense or distribute your full film or series outside the platform without your written consent.

4.4 Your promises. You confirm you have all rights needed for your content, including music, footage and the permission of people who appear in it. See our Copyright Policy & DMCA.

Creators earn from tickets, series unlocks, subscriptions and support payments. Earnings are shared between collaborators according to the splits set on each project, and are paid out through Stripe once payout requirements are met. Creators are responsible for their own taxes.

Credits on projects may be requested by members and approved by the uploader. Nowboja may correct credits or move a project to the rightful owner’s account when there is a genuine ownership dispute or upload mistake.

Nowboja is provided “as is.” To the extent allowed by law, Nowboja LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.

We may update these terms and will notify you of important changes. Continuing to use Nowboja means you accept the updated terms. See also our Privacy Policy.
